Fundraising event volunteering

Get involved at events!

Event volunteering is the perfect way to help out with fundraising, have fun, and engage others in Mountbatten’s mission, all without a weekly commitment.

You’ll do lots of talking to our supporters or people who don’t know us yet, helping to make sure everyone in our local community knows about the vital services we provide.

This role comes with plenty of variety and exciting days out to different locations – you might help out at our own event in West End, or help run a stall at a Christmas market in Winchester!

Tasks will vary according to the nature of the event but might include:

Registering, checking-in and providing information to participants of an event
Supporting the event manager with set-up and pack down
Collecting donations
Supporting participants around the event, such as marshalling, cheering or handing out refreshments
Talking to participants and spectators about the work Mountbatten does.
