Mountbatten Hampshire's Hazel Centre and social programme

Welcome to the Hazel Centre at Mountbatten Hampshire

At the Hazel Centre in our hospice building in West End, Southampton, everyone is welcome—whether you're a patient, carer, family member, friend, or part of the general public. Our doors are open to provide a warm, supportive environment where you can find the help and resources you need.

Our mission is to empower you to live well with your illness while offering practical and emotional support to help you navigate its challenges.


How to access Mountbatten Hampshire's Hazel Centre services

If you or someone you know could benefit from our services, we encourage you to seek a referral to Mountbatten via our Mountbatten Coordination Centre. This allows us to get to know you better and tailor our support to meet your unique needs. Additionally, you may find our rehabilitation services, based in the Hazel Centre, to be a valuable resource.


Social support and activities at Mountbatten Hampshire's Hazel Centre

The Hazel Centre also hosts a variety of social support groups and engaging activities throughout the year. These programmes are designed to foster connection, provide enjoyment, and enhance well-being. Stay tuned—more information about our upcoming events and activities will be available soon!


Relax and unwind at our Café at Mountbatten Hampshire's Hazel Centre

Our popular café is open to everyone—from patients and their families to passers-by and your four-legged friends!. We serve freshly-made cakes, drinks, hot and cold food, and snacks, all in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

With access to our beautiful and peaceful garden, as well as a spacious indoor seating area, the café is the perfect place to unwind. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or enjoying a leisurely lunch, you'll find a warm and friendly space to relax.

    • Monday to Friday: 8am to 4pm
    • Saturday: 10am to 2pm
