Our mission is to promote and to provide good care and support for those people living with, affected by or curious about death, dying and bereavement.

Our vision is of a world where all dying people and those close to them have access to expert, compassionate and cost effective care of the highest quality, whatever the illness, whoever they are and wherever they happen to be.

Our Quality Account

Each year, we produce a Quality Account, which outlines how we intend to make improvements to the quality of care over the coming year, and reviews how we have improved quality over the previous year.

Mountbatten undertake Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA) when a new system is implemented, when a new service is launched and when there is a major change in a process. This is to ensure that any change does not have a negative impact on anyone’s data privacy rights.

How we are regulated

We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and comply with the regulations set out in the Health and Social Care Act 2008. You can read their latest report here.
