Join Mountbatten Hampshire and wing walk from Sandown Airport, Isle of Wight on the 14 August 2025.

Alongside specialist Wing Walking company Ethel Dares Wing Walking, Mountbatten Hampshire are providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience. 

Soar through the skies over the Isle of Wight and raise vital funds for 24/7 vital end-of-life care services in patients' homes and in our hospice in Hampshire.

What can I expect from my Wing Walk with Mountbatten?

Taking to the skies, safely strapped on and standing on a beautiful vintage bi-plane, see the Isle of Wight in a totally different way!

You will be airborne for around eight minutes while you circling above Sandown's airfield.

Your friends and family can watch from the ground and thanks to the bright red paint of the Ethel Dares plane, you will be easy to spot.

Key details about Wing Walk with Mountbatten 

To register, you will need to pay £100 deposit to secure your place.

For beginner Wing Walk participants, we ask that you raise at least £1,000 in sponsorship.

In order to take part, you must fulfil the following:

• Height: You must be less than 6'2" tall
• Weight: Weight less than 14 stone.
• Health: A general level of fitness is required. Medical forms will be sent to you when you register and these must be completed and returned.
• Age: If you are aged over 65, you may need the consent of a GP
