Support us Walk the Test Way 2026 in aid of Mountbatten Hampshire Mountbatten Hampshire needs you to Walk the Test Way, on Sunday, 27 September 2026 and raise vital funds for hospice care in homes across the county, on our inpatient unit and through day services from the Frances Sheldon Centre in Southampton's West End. Organised by the Rotary Club of Romsey Test, Walk the Test Way is one of Hampshire’s most-loved charity walks. Every year, Mountbatten Hampshire celebrates people like you, who choose to walk some or all of the route in aid our of hospice. Signing up to raise funds for Mountbatten Hampshire at Walk the Test Way 2026 is a brilliant way to challenge yourself, make memories and support Hampshire residents through death, dying and bereavement. Here's how Walk the Test Way works, if you walk in aid of Mountbatten Hampshire The Rotary Club of Romsey Test organises the fantastic annual Walk the Test Way. Its success has made it a highlight of Mountbatten Hampshire’s fundraising calendar. As a Mountbatten Hampshire supporter, the money you fundraise will come directly to us. From there, we donate 20% of the total amount raised to the Rotary Club of Romsey Test, to help cover the cost of running Walk the Test Way and support the Rotary Club’s wider charitable activitie Everyone meets at Crosfield Hall in Romsey, from where you’ll be transported by coach to your chosen starting point. Don't forget to say hello to our fundraising team, who will have emergency Mountbatten Hampshire T-shirts. Each distance begins at a different location along the Walk the test Way route, before all walkers finish together in Romsey’s Memorial Park. Which Walk the Test Way route is right for you? There has been a 70 per cent rise in demand for Mountbatten Hampshire's care, over the last three years. 85 per cent of our compassionate and kind care is delivered in homes across large parts of the county, 24/7. The rest is through our inpatient unit in West End, Southampton and via day services at the Frances Sheldon Centre community space. Most of our work is funded by our community, through challenges and fundraising, like Walk the Test Way, as well as business sponsorship, grants, donations and our network of retail shops.
