In 2025, Walk the Test Way for 11 miles, from Stockbridge to Romsey in Hampshire, to raise funds for Mountbatten Hampshire.

What is the Walk the the Test Way 11 mile route?

Challenge yourself while also enjoying the beauty of our Hampshire villages!

Lying in the heart of the Test Valley, this route starts in the picturesque town of Stockbridge.

The River Test flows under the high street and you can still catch a glimpse of trout here, if you are lucky.

Using the old railway line, the path passes through Stockbridge Common – a quiet world of reedbeds and waterfowl. Here, the Clarendon Way crosses the valley, just before you reach the ancient crossing point of Horsebridge.

Continue to the National Trust's Mottisfont and through to Romsey's Memorial Park.
