"Thank you for giving us somewhere to belong —  and be us — again," said a carer. The Carers' Cafe meets fortnightly at the Mountbatten Hampshire Frances Sheldon Centre.

"Being a carer can be very lonely. The carers cafe gives me somewhere to share and talk with people who understand."

  • Fortnightly, on alternate Wednesdays
  • 10.30am to midday
  • Drop-in sessions, no need to book
  • Next sessions: 11 March and 25 March, 8 and 22 April, 6 and 20 May, 3 and 17 June
  • Tea and coffee provided

One carer said: "I didn't actually realise I was a carer until I sat down with Daryl and she helped me understand. This has helped me access so much more support"
