A special service, featuring readings, speeches and music, courtesy of the Mountbatten Community Choir, led by Kathryn Holt, provided an emotional opportunity for families to remember those who have died and to tie their own ribbons in our garden. Event organiser, Heather Parkinson, said: “It is a privilege to be a part of this event, which offers relatives and friends the chance to write messages on colourful ribbons and display them. “We were honoured to welcome guests to a memorable and emotional evening. “If you could not attend, it is not too late to take part." "Pop into the hospice until the end of August. You will find ribbons and pens in reception. “Alternatively, leave your dedication online, on our virtual tree, and we will make sure it is transferred to a real ribbon and displayed outside. Remembering with Ribbons is raising vital funds for Mountbatten Hampshire’s hospice and outreach services. Two-thirds publicly funded, Mountbatten supports over 1,600 people across Hampshire on any one day. Manage Cookie Preferences
