Make a Joyful Noise and raise money for Mountbatten Hampshire Join Mountbatten Hampshire Community Choir and other local singing groups to Make a Joyful Noise at St James Church, West End, on 28 June. HEWEB Churches Together is behind the event, which takes place between 3pm and 5pm, at St James Church, West End, SO30 3AT, Your local hospice choir will be joined by other singers to perform Gospel-themed songs, raising vital funds for Mountbatten Hampshire and a food pantry and food bank in Hedge End. Entry is free, but a card machine will be available on the night, allowing for what organisers call a 'generous donation.' Cash donations will also be accepted. For their part in the event, music therapist, Kathryn Holt has revealed members of Mountbatten Hampshire Community Choir will be performing hits by Aretha Franklin and the Beatles, as well as music from Sister Act.
