On 14 December, the annual Mountbatten Hampshire Light up a Life service honoured the memories of our loved-ones, by dedicating lights, listening to festive music and hearing heartfelt readings.

Families gathered at the Frances Sheldon Centre community space, in Southampton's West End.

Performances included music from the Mountbatten Hampshire Community Choir. After the service, guests stayed for mince pies, tea and coffee.

It is not too late to donate to light up a life and place a light on our virtual tree. Alternatively, pop into the Frances Sheldon Centre until the end of the year, and write a message to your loved-one (and perhaps hang it on our tree).
