Why not take up a new challenge in 2025 and join the Mountbatten Hampshire choir?

On 11 November, our hospice charity’s Hazel Centre threw open its doors to dozens of singers and an enthusiastic audience, for a free concert.

Since it reformed in February 2023, the Mountbatten Hampshire Community Choir has gone from strength-to-strength. 

At this recent event, singers performed a variety of tunes, including Do-Re-Mi, from The Sound of Music, complete with audience participation and actions!

Here's how to join the Mountbatten Hampshire Choir

• All are welcome to join the choir
• The Mountbatten Choir meets on Mondays at 6pm, in the Hazel Centre in Southampton's West End (off Botley Road, near the Utilita Bowl)

A silence was also held, to mark Armistice Day.

Run by music therapist and choir-mistress, Kathryn Holt, the Mountbatten Choir now boasts over 50 regular members.

They get together each week to enjoy singing new songs, well-known classics and music from all over the world.

Forming a fantastic community, the Mountbatten Choir is about making connections and supporting each other.
