On Sunday, 11 May 2025, celebrate 35 amazing years of the iconic Walk the Wight, which sees around 10,000 people stride across the glorious Isle of Wight, in aid of our sister hospice. Walk the Wight 2025 takes place on Sunday, 11 May and this year’s is extra special because we are celebrating its 35th anniversary. If you're a fan of Walk the Test Way this could be your perfect weekend getaway: A chance to enjoy the Island's beautiful countryside while helping Mountbatten Isle of Wight nurses continue to deliver 24/7 end-of-life care. Choose from the Flat Walk (eight miles, from the tourist town of Sandown to the Island's capital, Newport), the main walk (26.5 miles, from Bembridge in the east to Alum Bay in the west), or a half walk, either from Bembridge to historic Carisbrooke Castle or from Carisbrooke to the world-famous Needles. REGISTER HERE for Walk the Wight 2025 It cost £15 per walker to sign-up and extra fundraising or donations are welcome. You will collect your walker number from your chosen start line, before you set off. Why take part in Walk the Wight 2025?
