"On a night shift, I will be answering calls all night, making visits, and traveling from home to home across the city. Calls can be unpredictable, varying from someone needing advice over the phone to someone that needs a visit that night. I also receive calls from loved ones when a patient has died. I go to their home to verify death and complete last offices if the family requests. An individual only has one death, so I feel incredibly privileged to be involved during this time and to optimize this experience for them and their loved ones in every way possible."
